The homework is meant to reinforce and build on what you've learned in class. As each student learns at a different pace, it's difficult to say exactly how much time it would take for you to complete an assignment. We advise that you plan to spend time each day practicing and working on your homework. The most successful candidates tend to spend 1-3 hours practicing for every hour of class time. Ultimately, the effort you put into learning will directly correlate to your success in class.
Additional training includes self-paced modules and other TTS courses.
We create self-paced modules based on in-demand skills that our partners are hiring for. These are designed for your benefit so that you can maximize your time with us and add more skills to your resume. Some will take a few hours, others will take longer. These may be topics like agile, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Kubernetes, and more.
There are lots of ways that we will support you on your road to success. When the program begins, our Programs Team will reach out for 1-on-1 calls to check in, see how you’re doing, and understand your goals. It is really important to keep an open line of communication with them. They’ll review your LinkedIn with you and can run you through technical and behavioral mock interviews. If you need additional support, they can point you in the direction of tutoring or other resources.
Our Programs Team will also schedule virtual events to support your professional development throughout the program and after graduation. They will also share job openings on the student #general Slack channel.
Our team constantly provides feedback to our partners on different metrics like attitude, engagement, attendance, ability to complete work, professionalism, and performance on assessments for each candidate because we look at the holistic picture of making sure you’re learning the technical skills you need, but also analyzing soft skills that would make you an integral part of any future team.
We highly recommend that you complete the course you are currently enrolled in. Even if you feel like you've fallen behind, with some additional resources and support from our instructional staff, you can still make the most of this experience and complete class on time!
Remember: you can always audit a course you have completed again in the future for free.
In the case you've experienced a true emergency that is preventing you from completing your course, our team can help you re-enroll in a later session. Click the chatbot at the bottom of the page to submit a request to change classes. A member of our team will be in touch to assist you.
If you're interested in enrolling in a different course (ex. moving from Data Science to Full Stack Web Development), you cannot exchange your enrollment in one class for another. However, you are welcome to enroll in an additional course with a 15% off alumni discount! Click the chatbot at the bottom of the page to request more information about enrolling in another class.

If you are based in any US state other than Texas or Georgia, you would not be refunded tuition for withdrawing from class. TTS admits each candidate to our classes to the detriment of other applicants. If you decide to withdraw, you would still be responsible for paying the remaining tuition balance as outlined on your enrollment agreement.
If you are a resident of Texas or Georgia, please refer to your enrollment agreement for your state-specific withdrawal and refund policy.
Please reach out to the Finance Team at finance@techtalentsouth.com with any questions about your tuition payments. You can also click the chatbot at the bottom of the page to request our team's assistance.
Check out the TTS Jobs Board and apply to any roles that interest you!
After completing your course, we can help place you in a role at TTS, deployed to work with our hiring partners. So how does the match process work? We work directly with hiring managers and tech team leads at companies across the US, ranging in size from well-funded startups to Fortune 500 companies. We are your biggest advocate, pressing through communication on the backend to match you with amazing opportunities.
Throughout your course, you'll develop and perfect your LinkedIn profile. Our team will share job listings on the student #general Slack channel. We'll also email you directly about opportunities that may be a good fit for you. From there, you'll undergo technical screenings and interviews to be considered for the opportunity.
We have been chosen as a preferred vendor to many Fortune 500 companies, global consultancies, and mid-sized companies while also partnering with our long-time friends in the start-up world. Our roster of job opportunities will constantly vary based on client demands. Check out our recent partnership with Lowe’s.
The kinds of roles that we are looking to fill vary widely. Some positions are highly technical (ex. Software Developer, Mobile Developer, UX/UI Developer) and others are tech-driven but utilize additional skill sets (ex. Business Analyst, DevOps Engineer, Data Analyst/Specialist). We always take into consideration each candidate's unique background, interests, and skills when considering which open roles would be the best fit for them. While we can't guarantee that you will get a specific kind of job, we do our best to find a role that is a good fit for you.
We place talent in junior to senior-level roles, depending on their skill and experience level. As a TTS alumn, you can always come back to us when you’re ready for your next opportunity.
We cannot guarantee job placement because, as with any job interview, you still need to demonstrate that you can perform the necessary skills. It’s largely up to you to make sure you are practicing, listening to the feedback, and prepping for any interviews. We’ve lined everything up for you, all you have to do is hit out of the park. There’s a direct correlation between our candidates who are giving it their all and spending hours working through 50-60 practice algorithms a week who tend to get hired more quickly. Just like learning a foreign language, the more you practice, the more confident and natural things become.
We do not have data around this, unfortunately, but we do our very best to find a role for each candidate. It’s our goal to help each candidate succeed and secure meaningful employment!
The locations of our current openings vary constantly! As we can't guarantee placement in a specific city (or remotely), we encourage everyone to be open to relocation to open up more opportunities.
The starting salary for our grads varies widely because the TTS alumni network is an incredibly diverse group; our alumni have a wide array of educational and professional experience levels. With this said, we don't have an average starting salary for grads. We will only place candidates in roles that pay the current market rate for the job, location, and experience level.
We recommend researching the average starting salary for tech roles on the Bureau of Labor Statistics site to get an idea of the market rates for tech roles around the US. Be sure to filter by experience level for the most accurate estimate!
